About Me

Hello! My name is Cagen Medlock. I am from Tyler, Texas. I am an only child, I have two white labs, Allie and Ruby, they are very special to me. I graduated from high school in 2010.I used to hate running nut now I love to run, it all started my sophomore year in college, computers teacher was a big runner she talked about how she would run 8 miles, swim, and bike. She inspired me and helped me along my journey with running. I also love to be with my family and friends, shopping, traveling, and eating mike n ikes. I’ve been to china and absolutely loved it, would go back in a heart beat. My favorite restaurant is Olive Garden, I always get the soup and salad so I can have as many bowls of soup as I want. I could eat chicken everyday of the week and never get tired of it. I love sweets, but not a big chocolate eater. I play softball, I’ve been pitching for 8 years now. I went to Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton, OK, to play softball for two years, then transferred to Henderson State. I was originally going to be a business major but truly knew that’s not where I belong. Teaching young kids is what I most desire; I want to be a kindergarten teacher. Helping small children and being their first teacher and giving them that first stride to success in life is my goal. I hope to graduate with a bachelors in Childhood Education and minor in business. As of now, I would like to start off teaching in Arkansas and then move to Texas. Im starting this blog to share with all my friends and other people around the world that its never to late to start following your dreams and my teaching journey.
